Comand Navigation in W210
hey all, i have a w210 e class and really what i needed to know is what kind of comand navigation is in this car? Ive heard theres different types of navigations like comand aps or aps 50 etc?
is this true and does anyone know which one is in mine. its a 2001 registered.
ive lost the navigation cd so i wanted to get a new one and dont know which system it is. also if i buy a cd of the interenet will i be able to copy it for backups and use that as a backup?
thanks

Either give your VIN or describe what kind of a unit you have. A big screen or a small one etc.

Depending on the market, there are three different navigation capable head units for the W210. The Comand APS DX, the Audio 30 APS unit but also a small display device that is called Comand C, I believe better known as APS1, APS2 or APS4 (didn't check which one has been used on a W210).
The correct Comand disk would depend on your (original poster) location, I did not find that mentioned, I guess the US?
