Updating HDD Navigation in 09 GL
anyone know the process for getting the latest updates for Hard Drive based NAV in the 2009 GL?
I asked my salesperson when I bought and she didnt know since previous models were all DVD based.
Not that mine is that outdated, but I'm just wondering if there's a download you can receive (akin to the Search and Send feature), is it something that's part of the 10k service appts? Does it cost and arm and a leg? Are updates only released every X months or years?

The Map data base update is the same, you buy a DVD and insert it to the DVD drive at the head unit. The HDD gets updated, you can then remove the DVD.
