How to limit which iPhone contacts sync to car
I found this welcome surprise after the 3.0 iPhone software upgrade a couple months ago...
Problem: I had too many contacts on my iPhone syncing with my car making it tough to scroll to my desired contact.
SOLUTION: Setup a 'GROUP' in your iPhone's Contacts which lists only those people you want to have available while in your car; Next, goto Settings, General, Bluetooth, MB Phonesystem (or your Bluetooth name) and choose the GROUP you want synced.
The new setting will take effect the next time you sync with your car (you might have to restart bluetooth on your iPhone to make the selection stick).

I was able to add the group in Outlook and it showed up on my iPhone in the contacts. However the new "group" does not show up in the bluetooth settings. The only options I have to check are "none" and "all contacts" Any idea what's wrong. I just bought my phone which now was the 3.1 upgrade (3Gs) Thanks
