1997 E320
Becker Autoradio

I have a 1997 E320 with a Becker radio. When I put a cassette in the radio, it keeps trying to auto reverse it and goes from track 1 to track 2. Where could I get it fixed? Could I do it?

I replaced the stock head unit with a blaupunkt key west unit. It looks great and was easy to install. I think that would be a cheaper avenue ($130 for everything when I did 3 years ago) for you than getting the old junk unit fixed. Plus you get a cd player and aux input.

But you loose your steering wheel controls (if you had them to start with, which a '97 e320 did not).

Anyhow, this site might be able to help you, nolen01:

Yeah no steering wheel controls on the 97. So that is not a factor for him.
