D2B CD Changer - Aftermarket Upgrade Availability?
Hey guys,
The CD changer in my 2002 CL 600 (Part # A 203-820-90-89, Model # MC3010) is not working properly & I would like to replace it.
Can anyone tell me if there are any aftermarket D2B compatible changers available?

I believe not. This baby uses a D2B connector, and even the the manufacturer ( I believe it's Alpine) manufactures two versions for mercedes (one D2B, one is not ) and I saw some one has that none D2B version and couldn't hooked up. So your only choice is looking up at ebay, I believe used at 150-200 range, I just bought one at 195. and there are buy it now at 230-250. I know it's a bit expensive, the only reason I bought it because I can voice control it ( I had aux for my ipod, and I thinkGateway at 500 too expensive)

The only aftermarket D2B changers I came across were Philips models: RC026 & it's replacement - VDO CDC-026. Both are cheaper than the MB units and appearantly incompatible anyway... Well, the RC026 is anyway. Actually I thought $200 was rather cheap to begin with & wanted something higher quality to replace the unit in my car with so I didn't inquire furthur.
