Kenwood DNX8120 Dimmer wire question
When I turn my head lights on (not the marker lights) I'd like my stereo to dim the display like it would on any other car. I originally had it installed at Cartoys in my area but they didn't hook it up for some reason. I had another installer take a look at it and they didn't know where to hook it up either.
Does anyone here know where the dimmer wire from the stereo should be hooked up? The factory radio dimmed when the lights turned on so I'm not sure why this is such a hard thing to accomplish.
I contacted Kenwood and asked them and guess what they told me.... ask my Mercedes dealer..... That would be my last option, because every time I go there I'm treated like a second hand citizen.
