Audio30 question

Can anyone tell me what the icon shown in the attached picture is?

I just installed a new Audio30 into my 2002 210 wagon. While I was programming radio stations, all of a sudden, the sound turned to crap, and this icon showed up. I cycled through the "AUD" adjustments, and treble had gone all the way up, bass all the way down, balance all the way to one side (forget which) and Fade all the way to one side (forget which). Upon adjusting all those settings back to nominal, the sound was fine again, but the little icon remained.

Anyone know what this means? The owners manual from becker doesn't mention it at all, even though I took the attached image from the cover of their owners manual.

Thanks!

It means there is a cassette tape in the tape deck. Push the tape button and it should start playing. Hit the EJ button while its playing and the display pops forward and the tape will eject. I just inserted a cassette tape (took me a while to find one) and when I turned the radio on, that icon appeared

Hmmm... that's really disappointing then, being that there isn't a tape in there.

I hope this doesn't mean my new (used) radio is DOA.

It may mean the cassette player doesn't work, if you care about that. The random setting of the audio controls as you described is concerning though

Closure: the icon went away after sitting over night, and the radio has been working fine for about a week now. Thanks for the help.
