V60 BT install help in 04 CLK
Hi guys. I've been looking for some tech data and can't find what i'm looking for.
Basically i purchased a V60 BT setup from a member that pulled it from 02 E55. Both cars are D2B so i figured it should work.
I managed to install the PSE in to the Fiber-optic loom where everything is connected in a "ring" and i think it works be cause when i pull newly installed fuses for the phone, it disconnects my CD changer. So i know the PSE is successfully passing signal all the way through the car (right?) Also on my phone screen it now says phone not connected, where as before it was no phone (if i recall correctly).
So the problem is in the arm rest. I connect the cradle and the BT puck and it's as if it has no power. when the car turns on and off, the button does not flash. if i hold it down it does not go to pairing mode. As if it's dead.
Would anyone know what might cause that? And i hope it's not a dead BT puck.
