Hi guys,
I have a Kenwood DDX5032 installed for about a year now, something funny started happening. Everytime i open the glove box on my 2002 C200 Coupe the radio switches off. I've checked all the wiring and it seems fine.
Any ideas what could be the problem?

the only way it will do this is if the wiring is compromised
you either have the ignition lead (red) hooked to something it shouldn't be, the ground, or constant power.
further there can be a loss wire that some how is hitting something when the glove box is opened... though unlikely as it would do it if you hit a bump.
maybe have a shop look at it if you did it yourself. if you took it to a shop to have it installed, go back and have them look at it.
