03 CL 55 Command System
Can someone please help me with what i need to buy to enable the new Command to play Playstation 2 or DVD. Will the megacomm adapter work if so which one ... Thanksss

WOW!!! Hey thanks for the RAPID response, i dont have a pic of my actual command however i know it is exactly the same as yours with the 6.5 inch wide screen except where your command has the button labeled TV here in the states the button is there but is not labeled anything its just blank with nothing. You can press it down as all the other buttons however nothin happens... so will the megacomm still work.....

The US COMAND does not have TV silkscreend on the button. Just a blank button, however, the dealer cna still program via DAS the use of that blank button as a TV button.

have you had this done? Also would there be and functionability lost to the command? Would i need any other equipment in order to have the Playstation 2 and DVD play on the command? Also sorry for all the questions but i to am in California/ bay area perhaps you can refer me to a dealer that would be willing to program via DAS

I have not had this done. However, there has been an enormous amount of conversation on this forum about it. Doing a search will probably yield a large amount of information. I am sure someone will be able to answer most of these questions in a timely manner.

If your dealer activates this button, how do you hook up a dvd or X box? Does it require much wiring work?

Yes i do need the Euro command please inform on what i need to do in order to obtain the command from you. Also will this command allow me to play the playstation 2 and or DVD? If yes will i need anything else to accompany the command? And will my USA command work or do i definitely need a EURO command?

To Be able to connect a DVD player or playstation to comand you need an RGB connector...I can bring those as well...
I will most probably be in california to do some comand installs again in the second half of april/beginning of may...LA area and the bay area.

Can this RGB connector be used effectively with a 2000 US COMAND, assuming the MB dealer activates the tv button?

A- Do they need to change US comand instead Euro comand?
B- If not, can their dealer activate their blank button as TV button?
C-Do they need to disable TV interlocks for watch AV source while running?
D-Does the Megacomm AV adapter works with US comand?
