Adding an amp & sub in trunk of sl 55

Hi guy's, wanted a little advice on how much work to be had to add decent bass in the sl.
I have bought an audison connection SLI 2 signal converter, audison lrx 1.2k amp, and a focal 18 inch sub.

I can hopefully take the speaker cable out of the rear speaker (by the roll over bar), and add a slice of speaker cable down into the trunk.

Then connect the speaker cable to the SLI 2, then a short set of rca's into the amp.

The question is, how difficult is it to get access to the speaker cable, and how difficult is it to get it into the trunk?

Is there's an opening back there somewhere so that i don't need to take out all of the interior behind the front seats?

Maybe I should use the mercedes dealership to do it?

Any help would be very appreciated.

I'm hoping to be blasting yello and chicane's great 1 album down the narrow roads in norway by the (short) summertime!!

Hope some of you guys have done the same thing.

Yours sincerely
