Amp & Subwoofer in 2008 C350
I took my car to be tinted back in Dec 08 when I got it and was prepared to drop some dime in the trunk. I wanted to replace all the stock speakers but wanted to start with a nice clean sounding sub amped up in the trunk. They told me that it wasn't possible without completely replacing the entire audio system.
It's over a year later. Is there any plug and play or almost plug and play options to get a sub amped in my trunk?
Also, if I was to go with something like a Alpine INA-W900, and replace the head unit and put the screen in the dash, could I then use the screen that is on top of the dash as a video output?
More importantly, THE SUB!

I'm trying to figure this all out myself.
If you get rid of the factory amp then you'll need to connect directly to the MOST optical system with a MOST PreAmp interface. http://www.mobridgeinc.com/products/preamp_DA2000 (not yet released)
If you keep the existing Amp and use speaker outputs with the Audison Bit One http://www.audison.eu/index_main.php?Section=BITONE
then you can add another Amp and reconnect the speakers.
Not sure how this would sound with factory speakers and factory amp still playing a major role in the sound production.

Interesting. How much do you think option 1 will cost with the preamp interface (before amp, sub and new speakers)?
how much is the audison bit one?
Actually, I looked up the preamp interface by mobride and it says that C-class is supported up to 2007.

MBWorld Fanatic!
you don't need the cleansweep.
if u r doing a full system, the radio needs to be coded for internal amp to turn on and it is 20-20k hz +/- 2 db throughout
also use the bit1 from audison for control and EQ, the cleansweep has no business in that vehicle or any MB... outdated band aid
