I just purcased a used 2005 E55 AMG today to replace my M3. Wow!!! Amazing car. The car does not appear to have Nav option (says Nav not available when Nav button is pushed). Also I am curious about phone options (says "attach phone" when cycle to phone on dash). The car did not come with a manual although the dealer said they'd order me one and mail it to me (else I'd of read that befoe posting).

What do I need to enable the Nav? Cost?

What about the phone?

Bluetooth an option?

Any other insight into what my car may / may not have also welcomed. Has more options and buttons than I know what they do..

Need a NAV module, but first check trunk left side for presence of the DVD reader--if it's there you may just be missing the DVD.

Phone installation kit required (gets you bluetooth with another part, i.e. puck.)

Phone works like this photo except yours will be vertical at back of console if you have the rolltop console.

 

You can just hit the tel button if it says insert phone then you have a kit and just need the bluetooth module, if it says no phone installed it means you don't have the kit. My friend is selling the complete phone kit with all that is needed installed for 600 if you are local. If you do not have nav I really doubt you have a phone most 2005 vehicles did not come equipped.
