Need help upgrading 500SL speakers!!
I would like to upgrade my 1991 500SL's system. I purchased the car with a aftermarket head unit which is hooked up to the factory amp and factory speakers. I would like to replace the speakers but not touch the factory amp, basically just take the door covers off and slap on the new speakers.
From what I understand the stock speakers are 3 ohm, 6 1/2" and 4" in the front plus the dash tweeters.
From there Im not sure where to go. Any suggestions? Keep in mind I have no desire to add an amp to the system, just replace the stock speakers.
