Direct Wire Passport 8500
I lease a E500 and want to direct wire the unit without causing a problem on turn-in. Has any one done this and if so could you share the wiring details.

i believe there are a few threads about hardwiring the V1 on the c32 and w203 forums. search them and you'll find out exactly how. from what i remember, you hook it up to a spare fuse spot.
