1998 W210 E320 Becker Radio with Bose Amp Wiring Harness

1998 Mercedes E320 with Bose Amplifier speaker system wiring harness:

Remove OEM Becker radio/cassette head (pre-fiber optic system, need Mercedes radio removal keys $7.50); install an Alpine # CDE-103BT bluetooth handsfree head unit ($183.00) through PAC # SOEM-4 Line Output Converter ($23.00) using a Scosche VW01B wiring harness adapter (1986-Up Volkswagen - $4.95) with Scosche # Vwa-2B (Volkswagen Amplified Antenna Adapter $8.95), sounds sgreat! All from Ama zon.

Removing MB OEM cell phone Send/Rec unit (below radio) becomes great area to install single DIN storage pocket fits behind OEM closing door and holds I-phone and I-pod power/signal adapter direct Alpine unit.

Bose Amp wiring: MB OEM harness adpater speaker wires connect exactly - to VW connector, except, MB 12v battery supply wire (red/white) connects to harness yellow 12v battery power wire; switch the VW wiring harness adapter head unit ignition/switched power (red) wire with 12v battery (yellow) wire or new radio will loose its memory settings with every ignition key cycle.
