Gents, my 2002 C32 just experinced (as per the service dept) a EIS failure and they are asking for 2.5K to reslove - Question is, can I obtain this part cheaper? Do I really need to obtain a new item when my C32 is already 8 years an 100K miles? I just got done paying 6.5K on the SuperCharger and pullys three months ago.

Lastly If anyone here has the part number, then I can search and locate a used or cheaper one. Thank you in advance Gents!

 

The EIS requires vin coding and star programming to your specific vehicle. You cannot just find one and use it. A EIS typically runs about $500.00 and shouldnt require 2k in labor. I would ask to speak with the manager and see if he can help you out.
