Long story made short. My 2003 CL55 AMG suffered from the stuck in park problem. Following the instructions I found in this forum I removed the console (with the command attached and all wiring disconnected) shifter and the offending part. No apparent issues and all seemed to go well. When finished I started the car and found that there was no sound from the radio and the command doesn't seem to find the cd changer. The Nav seems ok- don't know if it has sound as I never have used it. I also notice that the unit doesn't turn off when I turn the car off (unless I do it manually) and if I scroll through the dashboard display there are two places that seem to want some input. One displays "CD" and has four _ _ _ _ under it. The Other is the same but says "NAV" _ _ _ _ . Does anyone know if this command system has a radio code? I have searched everywhere I know of and can't find anything to help. Please- any suggestions would be appreciated.
