Strange EURO Command tuner behavior

This morning, I turned on the radio of the Euro Command in my US CLK 500 and there was nothing but pure static on EVERY station.

I drove for a few miles, shut the car off and after about 1 hour, I turned on the car and everything worked fine.

Could this be a sign of the tuner going bad?

The first things to check are all the connectors between the headunit and the antenna.

some slow@$$diesels
If the comand produces static noise, you have to shut off the car for a short while and turn it back on again...should be gone then.

If you get static noise often, let me know...if it is just this one time, don't worry about it...it happens with more comands every now and then...

Thanks Steve. So far, it has only happened that one time.
