CLS55 - tweeter problem

I just purchased a CLS55, so I'm new to this forum. This seems to be quite a knowledgeable group, so I hope you can help.

My driver's side tweeter is not working (not making any sound at all). The fact that it makes no sound at all makes we wonder whether there is a problem with the amplifier as opposed to the tweeter. Has anyone encountered this problem?

Is there an easy way to remove the cover so that I can access the tweeter without breaking something (the cost of MB replacement parts has me spooked!)?

By the way, it's the Harman/Kardon system.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Thanks. That's good news. Any idea where I can find a Harman/Kardon tweeter to replace it?

I know other tweeters would probably sound better, but I'd rather have something that's seamless to install...

Thanks. Anywhere a little cheaper? Dealership wants $130... for one tweeter! If I have to go the aftermarket route, do you know of tweeters that will fit into the existing enclosure without having to modfiy it?
