What to do with old+not working+factory stereo?
I just got a new head unit installed (Sony CDX-GT700HD, and am very happy with it). The installer gave me the original factory HU that had gone kaput. But is there anything I can do with it so it doesn't end up in a landfill? Dare I ask, is it worth anything?

I give all my old electronics to an electronics repair shop near me.
They are happy to have the spare parts for future repairs and, as you point out, it keeps the old stuff out of the land fills.
