ipod & 2001 clk 55 amg
its got all the options except for navi. glove box doesnt have the input jack that some people have..
I dont really want to get rid of the stock stereo because then I'll lose my wonderful little "TEL" button

anyway.. what are some options that I have? it'd be awesome if I'd also have the ability to still control music from the steering wheel, but I'm gonna consider all options & their price of course
Check http://mbca.cartama.net/showthread.p...073#post189073 for one option; you would need the Gateway 500 for D2b, or a Gateway Lite from Dension (www.dension.com).
I don't know if any of the head units for the CLK had an aux inout.
also - the car has some sort of a phone cradle - no idea which it is.
is there an iphone cradle, or something? how do I use my iphone (preferably integrated with the rest of the car
)
now the dilemma would be that the steering wheel phone button would not activate the phone function on an Alpine
but could possibly on a Kenwood, which I really don't like because of all the gadgets... so basically i have a little bit of knowledge on the KenwoodAlpine I have more of...
maybe pioneer has something also
bluetooth
satellite
hd
cd changer
dvd changer (though you would need to add a screen)
imprint sound processor
Further they have the new ipod head unit also out which is pretty badarse
