Kenwood DNX9140

I am about install above aftermarket unit instead of COMMAND and I have a few technical questions.

Due to I have fiber optic, I am going replace HK amplifier with JBL MS-08. It's first step in process and I cannot skip it.

Questions:
1. I am wondering if my rear view camera is going work with new device - I have input on new device but I was told that on new cars, camera is recognized as 'antenna' on main system.
2. I was told that I need replace AM/FM antenna due to some comparability. What's my second option ?
3. any other advice before I pull trigger

The car is 2008 ML320 CDI

Sorry to resurrect an old thread. I'd rather post on this than start a new one. This is also my choice on a replacement aftermarket double din head unit. Hope you won't mind follow up questions on this:
1. How is the Kenwood DNX9140 doing? Scale of 1-10?
2. Since the NAVI system loaded on it is a GARMIN, I'm wondering if you can load other maps on it like Asian and European maps just like I do on stand alone GARMIN Navigation devices through an SD Card?
3. Does it have a provision for entering data through an SD card?
4. Does it charge your iPod or iPhone while they are docked/connected?
Let us know. There might be other Benz owners who have installed the same. MANy TIA! Cheers!

1. Let's say 7 - I am finding some slow response (i.e device booting is 25 sec) but in general OK. Mostly using maps, phone and listening music through USB stick (max size of stick is 32 GB)
2. yes ..you can load it using SD card (I did it)
4. yes ..I am using Android phone but I used IPhone 3GS and it did work for me (I think) ...

I am attaching picture of my setup ...
