I am a new owner of a 07 E350, and I am having an intermittent sproblem with what sounds like my dash mounted center channel speaker. It will sound slightly distorted at times; it doesn't matter the source (Sat, AM, FM CD), and it occurs at different times.

Has anyone seen this? What could be the problem? Help!

If your car still have warranty, take it to a dealer to have them check it out. I believe there is a service bulletin on W211 MY07/08 (noise or vibration in the dashboard where the center speaker is). The dealer will put some foam strip lining to kill the noise (or vibration).
