Audio 20 (w203) removal
Apologies guys newbie posting for the first time so sorry if this has been posted before and also if I have posted in the wrong place.
I have a audio 20 unit in my c class (w203) 2005 that has developed a CD ERROR (it won’t accept a disk) and my local MB dealer want £120 to take a look at it so I would like to remove it and replace it with a identical model I sourced from fleabay
My question is will the new unit work when its installed or does it need reprogramming or coding, any tips on removing the audio 20 unit would be very welcome
Thanks in advance and again sorry if this has been posted before on this excellent forum

There are a few DIYs posted on how to remove the unit in a w203. The Audio 20 is replaceable without any coding updates as long as you replace with the same model unit from another W203.
Good Luck and take your time with the removal.
