Euro Navigation DVD for American Command?

Euro Navigation DVD for American Command?
I posted this question in the CLK sub-forum, but it should be better suited here.
A German friend of mine bought a US spec Command II headunit for his German CLK. Everything works radio, CD player, except navigation as of course the N.A. DVD the unit came with is useless over there. He bought the standard MB Euro navigation DVD but it is not working, not even recognized. He did some research and found that there is a DVD covering Europe available for US models. Maybe for army personal or other people who drive their US car while in Europe. Does anybody know or has this Euro DVD for US cars? Thanks
