Becker 1692 Compatible Substitute for Alpine CM2396?

I am trying to replace a CM2396 with a dead LCD on a 1998 C280 W202. The car has a CD changer and I think it is a Bose optioned car. Will a Becker 1692 substitute the Alpine CM2396?
