c300 radio question
Hey guys I just traded my Nissan 350z in for an '09 White C300! Super excited about bein' in the Benz world now but I have a few questions. I have always been into custom audio/video and interiors and have done all my own installs. My 350z actually had a Mac Mini in it for a few years serving as a wireless hotspot and media hub for the vehicle. It is my understanding that Mercedes electronics are usually pretty well integrated throughout the car and something simple like changing out a headunit is usually more difficult than in other vehicles. The only feature I regretfully don't have in my Merc is then navigation system, and I was hoping someone here would know if it is something I can swap out if I can source it.
-- Also if that would work do I need the screen and the brain? or just the screen?
-- Do I need to get an authentic Merc rear view camera to add?
-- I found iPod adapters but I'm a Droid guy.... anybody know of any adapters?

complete system needs to be replaced for the OEM system, I was just looking through online salvage yards for one last week and didn't see one with NAV. you can replace the whole system if you want, the only thing that will show up is that the audio screen in the cluster will look like this ---
and no steering wheel controls... mac mini... been doing a few of the PC's in vehicles running 7... very nice, plus youd be able to easily run a 8" touch panel on the C, and depending if you have heated seats, possibly a 10"
doing a maserati now with everything, wifi, apps, OBD, camera with recording... and a few extra special super secret add ons
