help/pinout mp3 w/comand

I have bought a mp3 adapter that connects to the comand headunit in my w210 mercedes. when I plug the adapter into the c2 portion of the comand unit and go to aux on the comand, i get no sound. my adapter has 3 pins going into the c2 connector. does someone have this same adapter? does anyone know exactly which pin numbers the pins should be going to on the c2 connector? thank you in advance for your assistance.

I am not familiar with that adapter, but if you search for pinout elsewhere in the forum, you will see it. It SHOULD work though if I understand the concept of that unit. Not to sound silly, but you do have the volume turned up on the iPod, right?

Would this be the correct COMAND connector description? Right AUX on pin 4 and left on pin 13, 5 and 14 must be ground pins. I should have looked at it from WIS but the wiring diagrams are not as simple to read as a figure like this (this one must be coming from some Russian web site originally).
