CD issues in 2009 CLS550

CD issues in 2009 CLS550
I have used the in-dash CD player before. However, I removed all of the CD's from it and it still shows (sometimes) that CD#5 is still loaded. I have tried ejecting it, filling in the empty slots and resetting the unit. The unit still shows something as CD#5.
The unit makes noise like it is cycling between the different discs (or trying to do so), but no progress is made. I have even tried loading a CD to its CD#5 slot but that doesn't work either.
It's a long trip to the dealer so I don't want to take it in unless I have tried the easy things first. Is there a fuse that I should remove to reset the unit this way? If so, can someone give me the fuse #? By the way, I have only used original CD's in the unit.
