Kicker Sub Installed in floor
I put an 8" Kicker solobaric in the front passenger footwell. I can tell you that this location hits harder than 2 ten's in the trunk. And it looks cooler. Large footwell area still leaves plenty of space left. I re-used the factory carpeting for a factory finished look.

If you ever saw a stock Mercedes E-class floor, you'd notice it looks exactly the same except now it has an 8 inch grill in it.

FYI Below the mat, there was thick carpeting with 2 inches of foam behind it. Then there was a huge metal plate which made up the floor and covered a large amount of space where my custom made fiberglass enclosure went. So the floor is only a 2 inches higher now. Considering the E-class is like a limosine regarding interior space compared to BMW 5 and Jaguar XJR, there is still plenty left!
as for the grill, what would make you happy? Lemme guess... A chrome momo with LED's on it from fast and the furious? lol Its a Mercedes, not a rice burner.
