Hey guys....need some opinionated advice....
My shop has recently started doing a lot of high end car audio work. I have been a MECP and ASE installer for almost 2 decades but I need to know which is the better company to deal with, NavTv or Cartronics. I dont necessarily worry about price but technical support, ease of installation, and quality are what concerns me..
Any suggestions? Figured Id ask the experts here first....

Sounds like a lot of money on the way to Cartronics, the OP does not worry about the price, so...

 

It is of course coming from one of the companies you asked about, but originally we were hired to do weatherometer and compatibility testing (this was before we actually released the iTronic) - and there was no contest at all. Instead of spouting all that data here.... what I can say is two cold hard facts - The iTronic has enjoyed a in or out of warranty failure rate of less than 1/10th of 1 percent!! And in over 12,000 installs, only 9 have ever been returned due to being unsatisfied (which was really a problem with the install)

 

Well I look at it like this...

First define high end that you recently started doing

Next... any respectable shop would be going straight to the manufacturer. Now, if you don't mind buying from cartronics, marking it up further, to turn a profit, since I am sure the shop... nor cartronics is a not a non profit organization... then client finds out that he could of got it from cartronics with an installation manual a few hundred cheaper... you wil be having a different reputation.

Again, define high end...
