W211 E55 new system
I'm doing some research on building a new system for my 2004 E55. Different than my previous systems in my previous cars, I'd like to keep the stock headunit. The goal is total stealth.
My last car had Hybrid Audio Legatia Pro components in the doors powered by Sundown Audio amp @ 125w x 2. Sub was a Stereo Integrity Mag D2 V4 with 1000w x 1 Sundown amp on it.
I plan on getting rid of all the Harmon Kardon drivers and amps. How can I keep COMAND and send a pure source to new amps? Audison Bit One? And still retain all the audio controls via COMAND and steering wheel.
Budget is $3-4k, if possible. I plan on going with Hybrid Audio drivers again (they are fantastic!) but I'm open to amp suggestions. Maybe Alpine PDX series? I like the small footprint.
All replies are appreciated!
