dash light and gas gauge C280 1999
hi all,
need your input on a 1999 C280 sport pkg that we got for my mother-in-law. car drives great, but just discovered that left side of dash is dark vs. the right side - the speedo and the gas gauge look dim. the place i bot the car from says they have tool, but didn't know how to take the dash off to replace the bulb. any thoughts - or is this a dealer work?
also, the gas gauge light came off indicating that gas was low. i just filled up the tank and the light has gone away - but the needle is still down low...at the bottom of the gauge. any thoughts here?

since ur in the bay, you should contact Scorchie about your dash lights. It takes him about 10 minutes to take out your cluster and replace the bulbs. Very nice guy. The thing about your gas guage going bad happened to me too. The dealer had to replace two fuel sensors and my entire cluster, (estimated cost $2000 but covered under waranty)
