Will SL COMAND fit in C?
Does anyone know whether the A230 model COMAND will work in the W203 C-Class? I have read that there are some differences between the A203, A230, and A463, but have also heard that people have been successful installing the G-Class unit (A463) into the C-Class. Does anyone know for sure? Any help would be appreciated!

thanks! i thought all of the rounded units were the same shape. they all look the same to me! i knew the thing about the speed pulse, but someone got one to work. i remember reading it on either this forum or on csportcoupe.com (which has been down for repairs for days...anyone know why??? i'm going through withdrawal) - but thanks for the info! i appreciate it.

If its the latter, maybee I will work out how to get 203 s/w load onto the 230 (either by changing the files on the upgrade disk, or by working out how to re-serialise the COMAND so it returns a different ID) - both of which may be impossible

The unit phisically doesn't fit and has some serious electrical/operating problems once it actually IS installed...I only read mails about this that were send to me by two persons who tried it...I never tried installing a useless (for me) R230 comand into a W203 myself...
