Radio frequency scanner not compatible outside USA

Hello

I have moved with my S550 (2010) to the middle east and have lost the ability to pick up local FM radio stations. The only station I can pick up clearly is 102.3 which is the US NPR station here. I have tried manually entering the stations, but it goes to the next decimal point on the screen. I think the radio in the car is preset to only pick up stations in the US? and not to stations with even numbers at the end?
can anyone help me to figure out how to be able to manually to enter the local station numbers??

I am sure Rob at midcity or derek at navtv can make a module with the coding to change it, though I don't remember if it is only japan capable... or someone near you with a MB SDS computer can do it that still has development software access
