retrofit Mbrace?

retrofit Mbrace?
All, I have search all over this forum and have not been able to find if this can be done. I want to retrofit Mbrace from a salvage vehicle (2008 w204) into my 2010 w204 that did not come with it. I can salvage all parts and wiring from the donor car.
Question is, will it work and will I be able to activate it in my car?
Originally when I bought my car new the dealership told me it was impossible however they also told me retrofitting a Command system was also impossible (WIS has specific instructions on how to do this).
Can one of you tech types weigh in here?

Yes it's possible, but you need to buy quite a bit of stuff.
Also, I believe that the module used(telematics unit), has a serial number embedded within that is assigned to a specific car.
You will need a dome light that has the MBrace capability, as well as the wiring, microphone, Antenna, and Telematics unit which sits beneath the carpet on either the driver's or passenger's side.
Honestly, it isn't worth it.
