2ohm with 4ohm one amp
Can a amp handle 2 ohm load on front channel and 4 ohm load on rear channel (vice/versa)? I would appreciate if anyone can give me some advice tring to keep my rear door speakers and still run them threw a amp. The amp says it can run a 2 or 4ohm load but just wanted to no if it will work!

Guys,
Many thanks for you contributing your collective experience and knowledge for those (of us) pure amateurs and audio neophytes in the quest of - efficiently (with minimum cost and complexity) replacing the early R230 COMAND system. As I mentioned in another post, recently a well meaning detailer severley damaged the LCD screen on my old Bosch / Bose 230 82 00689 COMAND system - to the point I have either got to live with it - or either replace the OLD system -- or install a newer replacement.
I have researched buying a replacement LCD screen (SHARP) LQ5AW136 and having a knowledgeable and trusted tech install it into my known system... OR... buy an upgrade ..
I have contacted Seicane about their Android 8.0 S018817G .. Which some of our guys report this system requires a replacement amplifier to operate .. I have contacted Seicane - who assures me that NO replacement amp is necessary to function nicely.
Simply put .. IF the Seicane will work well - WITHOUT a replacement amp.. I am good with doing it, since I just want to keep the OEM "Bose audio package" intact.. Being an old Navy flyer, my hearing is almost shot and I am not and cannot be an "audiophile"
Bottom line .. Will the Seicane android 8.0 system connect with AND WORK nicely without searching for and replacing the Bose amp.. I have rather trust your collective views than a seller only !
MANY THANKS,
Ron
