Can you start at the beginning? Tell us what you did exactly. What does "battery reset" mean exactly? Did you replace the battery? Did you do something else with the stereo and now this is happening?

When I first connected my amp, I tried to do it with the car and stereo on. I used the rear speakers as my input for my amp. I tried to run the wires from the amp to the sub and they touched each other. I saw and heard a pretty good spark, then go no sound from the sub. I disconnected the amp and returned everything to factory, but from that point on, I lost my left side speakers. Turning the car off and on would give me normal sound from the right side speakers for about 10 seconds, but then they would reduce power and sound like bad static.

It turned out to be my Audio Gateway (AGW). I found a used one on ebay for $155. I got it, put it in, powered it up (fingers crossed) and voila, everything was back to normal. My old AGW doesn't smell burnt, no charred components on the board, and no signs that anything is wrong, but that zap must have killed some of the surface mount components.

I connected my amp again, and made all my connections with everything powered down. I turned on the car with everything connected, and the sub came to life. I was scared to blow another AGW, but when I did it the right way, all was well... other than a few electrical gremlins I'm having, but that's another thread that nobody will chime in on...

So fess up, what all have you done to lead up to sound cutting out every 2 seconds???

Thank you very much for your reply.

I didn't do anything of that, the only thing that I did just remove the red wire from the battery for 5 minutes and when I connected back this problem happend, all the speakers sounds well but every 2 sec the sound is cutting and coming back.
I think there is a code or something like that but I don't have it.
