2008 C300 Sport AUX Connection Problem
Hi all,
In the vehicle as described in the title, I am having a problem connecting my phone (Nokia E7) to my vehicle for playing my music. The car is equipped with the iPod adapter ONLY (no AUX connection), so I tried a converter that took female iPod in, and 3.5mm male out (to the device), as seen here:
However, it did not work. With that being said, I have two questions.
1. Am I doing it wrong? I plugged in my phone to the cable and then the cable to the iPod connector in the car (tried both while the car was first off, and then tried while it was already running), then I chose "Disc" and scrolled to "AUX". I don't have very many options there. Is it just supposed to detect and let me start playing from my phone?
2. If I was doing the former "right", what are my alternatives?
