W203 Speakers

The rear speakers of my '05 C230K are sounding rough. Can somebody please advise me on good replacement speakers - brand and size?

I looked on Crutchfield's and they listed front and back door speakers. Aren't there speakers on the rear shelf behind the back seats? I'm not sure I trust them because they say the double din decks don't fit and I understand they do (or is there a reason for caution there?).

Thanks!

Interesting that after 275 views on the Audio & Electronics forum, that nobody knows anything about W203 speakers...

I'd take it to a trusted installer and get their assessment. Most high-end cars now are difficult to work on because of proprietary networks, amps, etc. You can't just assume that you can pull out old speakers and put in new ones - most times you have to add an amp, connect it to the old system, and then put in new wiring to the speakers.

Thanks bfisher. I'll keep that in mind.
