V60 Conversion
I received my parts to do the Timeport/V60 conversion in my 2002 CL500. Installed the cradle and cord but nothing is working. Do I need to replace the PSE as well, and if so where exactly is the PSE located in the CL? My car does have the Command Center also as an option.
Thanks
Thanks

Actually my car is a CL600, and I just need to know where the PSE is located. I have an upgraded PSE that I need to install and couldn't find the location where the current PSE is located.

The PSE and VR module in the CL are located behind the drivers side trunk liner. Once you remove the liner, you will need to unscrew the CD changer bracket and remove it. Then you will see the bracket up in the body panel holding the PSE and VR module.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!
Thank you so much for the response...sorry for my brain fart earlier but I apparently do not have the upgraded PSE...is that going to be a problem? Thanks again, I really appreciate the help.

There are 2 PSE types. One has a white label on top of it. This indicates it is a PSE for the Timeport phone. The other has a blue label on top of it. This indicates that it is a dual mode PSE for the Timeport and the V60. You obviously need the one with the blue label installed.
Being that you have a 2002, there is a good chance that your car came with the dual mode blue label PSE from the factory. I would first take a look. If the label is bule you will need to look for other problems. If the label is white, you will know what you problem is.

Thank you so much! My 2002 came with the white label and apparently so did the one for the kit so I need to get another PSE! The PSE on the CL-600s are located in the driver's side rear fender behind the antennae box or compensator....there was nothing in the CD changer except for the amplifier and changer itself....at least I know how to tear this car apart now! :-) Thanks again.

In either case, as you stated the white labeled one will not work on the V60.
