static on am radio 2004 E-320
All of a sudden, all am stations have static. FM okay. Static decreases as soon as brake pedal is depressed. Also, any idea where the radio antenna is located? No antenna on the roof.

Radio antenna is at the rear window (actually four separate ones for diversity reception).
Could be a ground connection issue but I don't know how the brake pedal (brake light) could affect your problem.
