Comand broken?

Comand broken?
I have an Euro Comand unit that doesn't turn on anymore. It still loads CDs (I hear the loading sounds) and ejects CDs, but that's it. Nothing works. Anyone have this happen before? What's the fix? Thanks.

Kenny, as said...every refurbished and/or used comands comes with a 3 month warranty but even after that period (when did you get yours installed - december?), I have no problems backing up the products I sold..."repairing" your comand didn't take much (as you noticed).

what is the difference between US and Euro comand? Also how much is the cost difference between new and used? thanks!

Al - Steve installed a Euro Command (refurbished) for me several months ago. Think the cost was $1300 plus another $250 for the double DIN wood I needed for my 2000 E320. Absolutely perfect job! Euro Command has female British voice to give directions plus a TV button to drive the MB service manager whacky! Since you are also in Boston area would be happy to let you get a look at it.
