SmartKey Starter Installation 2012 C300 - Help?
Hi All,
I picked up a new SmartKey starter on eBay very cheap and had a few questions before I install it.
The vehicle is a 2012 C300 without Keyless Go.
What is the easiest way to gain access to the rear of the EIS in a W204? I doubt it's much different for 2012 vs the older model years. Will I need the EIS removal tool? Can I get to it from the drivers side panel under the dash? I'd really rather not have to remove the COMAND unit!
Is this thing safe to use (won't damage anything)? No horror stories, right?
