iPod and AUX simultaneously on COMAND NTG4.5?

iPod and AUX simultaneously on COMAND NTG4.5?
I have a 2013 G63 with a COMAND Online NTG4.5. There is a Media Interface connector in the center armrest and the car came with an iPod 30-pin dock cable, USB cable, and AUX cable. The problem is that I want to use both the 30-pin dock cable (for my iPhone) and AUX (for a FLIR PathFindIR thermal camera) simultaneously. Is that possible? Right now I have to swap the cable connected to the Media Interface connector when I want to use the thermal camera as an AUX video source.
