Car Deck Install - 2002 SLK 320
Hi everyone,
I'm looking to install an aftermarket car deck (JVC) in my 02 SLK 320. As I was about to purchase the deck, I was told there is no harness conversion kit and bracket mounts available for this car. The entire install needs to be custom wired and mounted. Anyone know if this is true? if not, do you have any recommendations on where I can get the harness and mount kit or any tips on how to get this installed, maybe if there's any wiring diagrams or dui guides in order for me to install this on my own?

I don't have an SLK but yes, probably true. MB tends to have proprietary communication systems (MOST, etc) in the car. I did my last E300 and it was a total rewire job. Unless you know what you're doing - probably worth taking it in to a car stereo specialist for their assessment.
