display fault
hi
if you have a display fault ,
key not working ,lights flicker when you open the car ,delay on elec seats, lights, windows ect you might want to read this .
i just fixed my fault for £45
look beside the battery there is a jump point (little black box with a red top) with 6 wires coming from it . open the front so u can see the wire connections one of these had burnt out (bad connection) i just got a new one and replaced it cleaning the contacts job done, have a look
part no A203 545 04 01
hope this helps someone

Good to know if this turns out to be a common fault (I'm not really familiar with this model).
That is actually the complete fusebox. This is about a W203 based on the part number, perhaps equally applicable for other models with a different part number but with similar design.
