Fixing Bulb Out error, for LEDs

Bulb Out" warning.
Does anyone know how much current the system is looking for?
I see a lot of 6 Ohm resistors, but that seems like a lot of extra current draw (over 2 A) and over 25 Watts wasted.
I am looking at some higher power LEDs for the fog and brake lights and if I had some idea of the trip point of the error message, I could chose a resistor to shunt as little extra current as possible.

Did anyone do some actual testing on the subject? how much current are required to not trigger the fault-message?
I guess I would have to do the testing my self. But i would need some equipment, so if someone is sitting with som results, please share. And i will do the same when the time comes (on my w211 2008 and w245 2008)
If someone actually found another workaround to this problem, i'm happy to hear. In my opinion Mercedes should make the whole "bulb-malfunction" warnings optional to the users.
Thanks
