Thanks so much for sharing this here. I wonder if anyone who owns a cradle eliminator cable can take a close up picture of the RJ45 that connects to the car, I happen to have an old motorola v60 data cable and I'm planning to replace the USB end with an RJ45 but I need the wire positions.
Normally for computers they have a standard position (see graphic) but for this cable they're different.
